Dear Border Church Family,
This week we will be having Church in our regular venue at the QCWA Hall at 169 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Parking can be found on Griffith and Boundary Streets as well as on Marine Parade. For shaded parking you can park under Twin Towns. We will be meeting at 9:30am (QLD), 10:30am (NSW) and look forward to spending time with you.
This December we will be looking at the birth of Jesus story through the eyes of his mother, Mary in a series called Mary Christmas. This week we look at the expectancy of Mary and indeed all the women of Israel through the centuries. The Messianic Hope and the privilege to play a part would have attended every new mother from the first promise in the Garden of Eden. We ask the question, "What did Mary Know?"
Kids/Youth Church will be running for the time that the service is on, directly after the worship.
We always have a healthy plant-based fellowship lunch after Church. This week we are having Asian-themed food. Bring your favourite dish. We would love you to join us for this time of fellowship. Our lunch schedule can be found here - https://border.church/pages/church-luncheons-roster
Border Youth is on tonight - 5:30-8pm (NSW Time). First Friday of the month means we are having movie night and this month we are watching "Journey to Bethlehem". We will enjoy the movie plus be looking for inaccuracies in the adaptation as opposed to the Biblical account
On Saturday afternoon and evening, December 7, Border Church will join the combined Churches of the Tweed to bless the community with a Free Community Fun Day. Please start sharing about this with your friends now.
This December, do a deep dive into a Character, Story, Book or Topic in the Bible and share what you discover.
Throughout December we are going to look at the story of Jesus' birth and incarnation through the eyes of Mary. Please invite your friends as we sing some of the classic praise and worship songs centered around this timeless story of Jesus' invasion into this world.
You can contribute towards our community outreach in our tithes and offerings box or online through various options on our website at https://border.church/give

We would love to show you how to lead one of these groups simply. Please let us know if you would like to start one.
