This week we will be having Church in our regular venue at the QCWA Hall at 169 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Parking can be found on Griffith and Boundary Streets as well as on Marine Parade. For shaded parking you can park under Twin Towns. We will be meeting at 10am and look forward to spending time with you.

This week we start the second half of our series on Corinthians - Culture Creation. We look at the introduction to 2 Corinthians and how it contrasts with 1 Corinthians and how it sets up and anticipates themes for the rest of this new letter.
Kids/Youth Church will be running for the time that the service is on, directly after the worship.

This Weekend
This week Border Youth is at our usual location at Tweed Presbyterian Church Hall from 5:30-7:30pm. This week we will be playing some lower key games for holidays.
Tech Fundraising Update
Thank you all for the donations to our tech upgrade. We made great use of our new projector during our workshops and hope to continue using this projector through the year. We are also raising money for audio upgrades such as additional speakers, leads, etc. This comes to about another $5000. To donate to these improvements please specify the reason for the donation using the account below.

News and Upcoming Events
Starting next week, Daylight Savings will be in effect and our Church services will be shifting from starting at 10am (non-DST) to 9:30am Qld/10:30am NSW time. Please make adjustments to your alarms. Youth will be 4:30pm-6:30pm QLD time/5:30pm-7:30pm NSW time.
Starting in October we will start our series on 2 Corinthians which will carry us through to the end of the year.
Service September
Our workshops were a great success this year with dozens of community members expressing thankfulness to us for what they learned and the new friends they were able to make. We were blessed to see people improve themselves with these workshops and can't wait to run more next year!

Wednesday Prayer Meeting
Prayer meetings are on Wednesdays at 3pm at 179 Botanical Circuit, Banora Point. Please message me or speak to Lorraine if you have any prayer requests we can add to our list. All are welcome to join as we pray for our community and upcoming projects.
Sealed & Revealed
Season 4, looking at the at the first half of the book of Revelation, will begin Monday August 4 at 6:30pm AEST.

Bible Discovery Groups
For 2025, make it a resolution to begin or to join at least one Discovery Bible Reading Group. They are super simple to do and a great way to learn in community with others, especially those new to the Bible. You can get something out of this no matter what level you are at. We would love to show you how to lead one of these groups simply. Please let us know if you would like to start one.
Other worship opportunities
We run Alpha small groups on a regular basis and if you would like help hosting one for your friends or loved ones to discover Jesus and the basics of the Bible, please let us know.
